| Congratulations!
As this year's campaign comes to a close it has just been announced that Wellington Catholic has surpassed its ambitious goal of raising $60,000 for this year's campaign. The challenge of making another leap to the $63,000 mark is underway as many in our communities are suffering and need our help. This is another year in which our students & employees have practises social justice at the local level.

| Bishops Dinner |
| Next year's Bishops Dinner is scheduled at the Italian Canadian Club on Thursday October 7th, 2010. We are very pleased that some of our students have used this Centre. A group from Sacred Heart has written a letter of thanks to the Board for its initiative in this important venue. Students from our Construction Technology High Skills Major program are now completing the outdoor chapel that is located beside this Centre. Sincere thanks those who were at this year's sold out event on October 8th. We are very grateful for the community support to this special evening. |
| Summer Credit Program in Italy |
| We are again in partnership with the Dante Society in offering credit programs in Italian, Ancient History and Art History in Italy during the month of July in 2010. This has been an outstanding program in which students from this District and those from other schools in Wellington County have participated. Students will visit a number of key sites from coast to coast in Italy. This has become a life changing experience for many. The information evening is on Tuesday December 8th at 6.30 pm at St James High School. |
