The elementary and secondary schools of our District will not be disrupted by any labour issues in September. Teachers, support staff and all education workers with this District are not involved in any of the labour issues as reported in the media. We are very pleased that the relationships with the Board and all groups is amicable and will provide continuing service to our families and students.
High Schools Accepting Registrations for Specialized Programs in September 2008
Each of our high schools is accepting applications for specialized programs that are available on specific sites for all students in the District or for those from other Districts who may be interested. The High Skills Major in Construction and Home Building is offered at Bishop Macdonell, the Manufacturing Robotics program at Lourdes, and SHSM in The Environment is offered at St. James. These exceptional programs are usually over subscribed but do have some room available for this fall.
